001 — WORK FIG. E / SELECTED PROJECTS

Apps, systems and websites.

We build everything from brochure sites and online shops to an admin panel the client's staff use every day, and software for a research facility.

We publish specific projects only with the client's consent. The first case study is in preparation; until then, the demo redesign below shows how we work.

002 — CASE STUDY AWAITING THE CLIENT'S CONSENT TO PUBLISH

Client name

One sentence on what the client does and what they came to us with.

FIG. E0 — AWAITING A 1600 × 1000 PX SCREENSHOT

FIG. E0 — PROJECT NAME

C.01 — THE BRIEF

What the client needed and why it was not working before.

C.02 — WHAT WE DID

The scope in three sentences. No technical jargon.

C.03 — THE RESULT

A measurable change. A number before and a number after.

  • 0METRIC 3
  • 0METRIC 4

Two sentences from the client, word for word as they wrote them.

003 — PROJECTS PUBLISHED WITH THE CLIENT'S CONSENT

What we have built.

004 — DEMO: BEFORE AND AFTER A FICTIONAL COMPANY / DRAG THE DIVIDER

  • DEMO PROJECT
  • FICTIONAL COMPANY

Krajči Joinery, Žilina.

A made-up company with the kind of site most tradespeople have — a price list in an attached document, a phone number as an image. We rebuilt it the way we would rebuild yours. The new site deliberately does not look like this one: it has its own brand, its own colours and its own typeface. Our visual style does not belong in client work.

FIG. E1 — DESKTOP, 1440 PX. DRAG, OR USE THE ARROW KEYS, TO MOVE THE DIVIDER.

FIG. E2 — MOBILE, 390 PX. THE SAME DIVIDER — DRAG IT WITH YOUR FINGER.

005 — WHAT CHANGED MEASURED IN OUR DEMO ENVIRONMENT

It was not about colours.

The original site had everything that mattered — it just had it hidden in an attached document. Someone looking for a joiner wants to know two things: what you make and roughly what it costs. The redesign was largely about getting that answer onto the first screen.

  • Z.01

    Prices out of the attachment

The price list was a .doc download, last edited in 2018. Now indicative prices for the three most-requested items sit on the first screen.

  • Z.02

    Work instead of promises

The gallery was a separate page with fifteen photos at full size. Now the finished projects sit right under the hero, resized and cropped.

  • Z.03

    A clear next step

On the old site the contact form was right at the bottom and the phone number was an image. Now a call is one tap away and the free site visit is a button.

  • Z.04

    Their brand, not ours

The joinery got oat, dark green and a geometric grotesque — chosen from what the workshop looks like and what leaves it. Do not look for our own visual style in client work.

  • 6.4 → 1.1 sLOAD TIME ON MOBILE DATA
  • 2 → 0CLICKS TO AN INDICATIVE PRICE

The figures come from our own demo environment, not from a client. We quote them to show what we work on in a redesign — not as a promise of a particular result for your business.
